This is our first official day! We were treated to breakfast in front of the space shuttle and greeted by the director of the Air and Space Museum, Ellen Stofan. She shared the purpose of this institute is to provide teachers with ideas and access that will help us inspire our students in the STEM fields. My group of teachers includes national board scholars, Einstein fellows, national grant recipients, state teachers' if the year, STEM directors, and many more who humble me. I plan to be a sponge!
