Day Three-- back to Udvar-Hazy

Design challenge classes! We built a geodesic dome in under an hour, finally got to shop at the gift shop, and enjoyed more classes. But, the day ended with a World War II Veterans Panel which was so interesting.

The man in the red jacket is Charles McGee, a 99 year old Tuskegee Airman. The man to his left is Ewing Miller, a former WWII POW and famous architect. It was fascinating listening to their stories as they sat in front of a P38 lightning!
